(Matthew 23:27) A curse is on you, scribes and Pharisees, false ones! for you are like the resting-places of the dead, which are made white, and seem beautiful on the outside, but inside are full of dead men's bones and of all unclean things. (1 John 2:17) the world and its evil desires are passing away. But the person who does what God wants lives forever.
Luke 18:11 (The Self Righteous) The Pharisee, taking up his position, said to himself these words: God, I give you praise because I am not like other men, who take more than their right, who are evil-doers, who are untrue to their wives, or even like this tax-farmer. But people who want to get rich keep toppling into temptation and are trapped by many stupid and harmful desires that plunge them into destruction and ruin. (Romans 1:26) For this reason God allowed their shameful passions to control them. Their women have exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. Men commit indecent acts with men, so they experience among themselves the punishment they deserve for their perversion (Romans 1:28) And because they thought it was worthless to acknowledge God, God allowed their own immoral minds to control them. So they do these indecent things.	(Romans 6:23) The payment for sin is death, but the gift that God freely gives is everlasting life found in Christ Jesus our Lord	(2 Timothy 3:2) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (2 Timothy 3:3) without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, (2 Timothy 3:4) False to their friends, acting without thought, lifted up in mind, loving pleasure more than God; (2 Timothy 3:5) They will appear to have a godly life, but they will not let its power change them.
